Susan Aylworth

Biography

Susan loves words. Her parents were teachers who read to her; she can't remember a time without books. A homebody with itchy feet, she can stay inside for days at a time, and then go out to wander the world. So far, she has stepped onto every continent except Antarctica and she hopes to visit there. A retired university professor, she loves researching different careers and lives and then creating characters who live in those worlds. She's a mom, a gramma, and a new great-grandmother. She and her husband of 50 years, also a writer, live in northern California in the beautiful Sacramento Valley.
