Biography
Emily Conrad lives in Wisconsin with her husband and two rescue dogs. She loves Jesus and enjoys road trips to the mountains, but always ends up coming home to the town where she grew up. She enjoys life there so much, she fictionalized her hometown to create the setting for her 2018 debut novel, Justice, which released from Pelican Book Group.
A member of American Christian Fiction Writers, she is an ACFW First Impressions winner (2015) and finalist (2014) and an ACFW Genesis semi-finalist (2012, 2015). Her non-fiction has appeared on GraceTable.org, in Southern Writer's Magazine, and beginning in February, 2019, she is a regular contributor to Seriously Write.
Use the links under "stay in touch" to connect with her on social media. You can also sign up for her email newsletter and/or her latest blog posts! Subscribers receive a free link to her short story, "A Thing of Beauty" in their final welcome email.
Emily is also available for book club visits, either local or online, and she loves to send book marks to good homes as supply allows. If you enjoy Christian fiction or have a book club, church library, or other venue where Christian readers will pass through, send an email with approximately how many book marks you'd like.
Hosting a larger event such as a conference? Emily can give talks on subjects such as practicing faith instead of worry and writing fiction for the Christian market.
