Galaxy's Most Wanted: Books 1-4 Kindle Edition
1000+ pages of space opera action await in the Galaxy's Most Wanted series!
A smuggler in the wrong place. An ancient alien technology. Now, everyone is after him.
Kai Fletcher thought he could go straight, until he couldn’t. And when his last "last" job goes wrong, he finds himself stowed away in a starship belonging to an alien crime syndicate.
Forced into servitude to pay the debt for passage off world, Kai bargains with the syndicate. All he has to do is help them rob the Vakness Empire, the most powerful alien empire in known space, and he gets to go home.
Easy Peasy. Until it isn’t.
Planning the heist, Kai discovers that the Vakness Empire has stolen ancient alien technology that will allow them to achieve their dream of ruling over all other sentient species. He's never been a good guy, but even he has limits.
Hunted by both the Empire, and the syndicate, he manages to get on the wrong side of everyone in the galaxy who wants the discovery for themselves.
Kai just wanted to get back to Chicago, but instead, he’s become the Galaxy’s Most Wanted in this Sci-Fi thrill ride from Michael LaVoice!

About the author

Michael LaVoice wanted to be a Marine but served in the US Army just in time for the first Gulf War. He was the fifth generator mechanic assigned to a Hawk Air Defense Artillery unit slated for three, and the other one was already the mail clerk. This means he spent more time playing soldier than wrenching on generators, which was probably best for the generators, and more fun for Michael.
He has been writing since he was in grade school, trying his hand at various genres and formats, but always returning to his first loves, crime fiction, military science fiction, and fantasy.
He is a fan of Techno-Industrial music, space navy battles, futuristic armored combat stories, and Space Opera in general.
He lives in west Tennessee with his wife, one out of seven kids, a mackerel tabby with delusions of grandeur, a Chocolate-Lab/Chow mix that got all the Lab friendly and all the Chow fluffy, and a German Shepherd puppy that keeps everyone on their toes.
He collects sharp and pointy things from Museum Replicas and probably too many starship models and action figures. As if there was such a thing as too many of those.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 11, 2025This is the first time I’ve written a review on any book that I’ve read (numbering in the thousands). Extremely well written. At first the quotes from various movies surprised me, as they all cracked me up. But then I started looking forward to them. They fit in so perfectly with the story line, that if you took them out, the story would be ruined. Duuuude, you totally rock!! I hope you have more like this coming, cause I want them all!

- Reviewed in the United States on January 27, 2025I understand a story has a beginning, a middle, and an end. But if he writes more in this series I'll probably buy them. Only one minor plot hole, and only two typos in the four books.
Call me crazy, but if you're going to write for a living, grammar, spelling, and punctuation count.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series, and didn't get anywhere near enough work done while I was reading them.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2025The start was shaky and I wasn’t even sure I was reading sci-fi. After several conflicts and close calls, the books really got going with great character development and a great story! Hated for it to end!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 19, 2025GALAXY’S MOST WANTED is a fun series with great characters (including AI), lots of humor and gobs of space battles. Our intrepid hero starts out as a petty thief just trying to pull that one last job to buy his kid brother out of trouble. Oops! He accidentally hides in what turns out to be the spaceship of a much bigger alien thief. You can’t begin to imagine what happens next, so read the whole series. It’s a riot!

5.0 out of 5 stars so many surprises from the get go
From the opening sentences of book 1 to the closing phrases of book 4 this super series is full of surprise offer surprise, interspersed with the occasional time I kinda guessed what was coming next.
Love it all and if you love battles there are plenty of them along with fabulous relationship goings of on many levels. Can AIs really get humour and emotion? Can humans get over great family loss to move on with their life?
Superb spaced based series with Earth having a pivotal but different role than what I have seen in other series and individual books.

5.0 out of 5 stars how do you explain this boxed set?
This is one of my favourite collections of a series - thank you Michael (if I may be so bold). The right mix of greed, believable villains, slightly bent humans, weird but wonderful space tech, unexplained tech (disruptor vacuum cleaners, cloaking devices, sentient AIs and on & on.
I’m disappointed it has ended but I’m glad I got to read it, not quite in one sitting though!!!
This series has everything you’ll ever need to sate that SciFi itch without taking itself too seriously. Loved the killer bots, dude!
Thank you Michael.
