The characters were diverse and interesting and the story was eventful and kept me turning the pages. Ryder and Molly were great together and were easy to like. I enjoyed reading about them and their work and getting to know their families and friends. In general, I prefer confident, take-charge guys but Ryder's "shyness" here was refreshingly different and attractive. He writes too and keeps a notebook of his personal thoughts. It was also amazing how Molly overcame a horrible incident in the past and became successful and independent.     I really enjoyed book 2...

    Ryder is great. And eventhough she thinks she isn't good enough, Molly is a great girl. And she is a great character. Love the twist with her and Gunnar.

    What I didn't like was Ryder leaving Molly because she lied to him. Now I get that you should tell the truth but Molly had a reason or reasons for keeping things from him and very serious reasons. I hated how she felt so guilty when the truth finally came out. She's dealing with enough guilt her whole life...I felt like he should've let it go because of the pain she was already dealing with.

    Evening that rubbed me the wrong way, I enjoyed all the rest of it. Loved Tammy and her sparks with the veteran and of course I loved the chemistry and the steamy sex scenes. And I loved how Ryder was so shy and so jealous with Molly.

    I really enjoyed this addition to the Rolling Thunder Series. Ryder and Molly are great together and have a wonderful start. The world building is awesome, but there were just a few things that brought my rating down all take place towards the end of the book and weren’t horrible enough for me to not read the next one, just irritating. Somewhat Spoilers below......

    1. The heroine pulls a Too stupid to live moment, instead of seeking help because of embarrassment places herself in serious danger.
    2. The hero finds out about the things that the heroine went through and then leaves her, because she didn’t trust him with her truth. It’s obvious that she didn’t handle things correctly, but to leave her for days? Nope, especially when we have no clue if the villain has been caught yet.
    3. We never hear how or even if the villain gets caught and that Molly is actually safe.

    Like I said irritating things but not enough for me not to continue especially since I loved the first book so much.

    I also wish it had more about Joci and the baby or babies she's carrying.
