Description
Lady Augusta Radford is the daughter of the wealthy and powerful Duke of Rasbury. Toward the end of the summer, Augusta was introduced to Ambrose—The Earl of Firnsdale. They became betrothed after a traditional courtship and will wed the week after Epiphany. In the meantime, Augusta and her parents have returned to their family countryseat in Rasbury village for the Christmas Season. The last thing Augusta expects is to run into her old childhood friend Silas, or that seeing him again will cause her to question her upcoming marriage to Ambrose.
Silas Mitchell has spent the last five years studying in America. Upon his return to London, he is informed by his father that their family apple orchard business is on the verge of financial ruin. Silas’s world is turned upside down when he reunites with his childhood friend Augusta and discovers that she’s betrothed.
Silas and Augusta rekindle their friendship, causing old romantic feelings to resurface. Will they get their happily after during Christmastide or will outside forces tear them apart?
