The lethal needle

Description

A beautiful young seamstress is condemned to the gallows for murdering her client, Lord Garrard. Witnesses at her trial had given evidence that she was the only one present at the murder of his lordship resulting in the guilty verdict.

A bloodthirsty cheering mob gathered to witness the gruesome event when a small man arrives on the gallows platform pleading that there had been a miscarriage of justice and demands a retrial. Given little time, he goes to see a lawyer, waking him up from his months of drunkenness, and new evidence comes to light.

Love, jealousy, decadence, greed and intrigue are uncovered providing a mixture of motives leading to his Lordship’s death facing a very cunning killer, who may have not been as cold hearted as we would think.
