Description
After escaping an abusive marriage, reporter Beth Buckley risks her life trekking through the Outback alone with only an Aborigine named Oatman, two camels, and a dog named Mack. Her solitary journey helps her discover that she doesn’t need anything in her life—not even money or love and especially not fame. She meets Cooper Jackson, a famous musician, and finds herself in a world of people who even though she has nothing the world values to offer, seem to need the only gift Beth has to give.
That gift is the one thing Beth doesn’t want to share because she knows she will die if it falls into the hands of people she can’t trust.
Meanwhile, a vindictive reporter, Cathy Colson, is hot on Cooper Jackson’s trail to ruin not only his life but his love for Beth. Cooper Jackson has a secret that he and his inner circle have been hiding for 20 years. If Cathy Colson finds out will it ruin Cooper’s reputation forever? Will Beth be able to trust Cooper? As they race against time, who will win? And whose dream will come true? And what will happen to Cooper’s secret?
