Description
Three million people live on the galactic battle base, and one Jane Doe.
Natalie Weaver is in her first term at university on a galactic battle base in the mid-28th century CE Earth time. Her parents had recently retired to a planet in the Parisian sector. Her only living relatives left on board are her aunt and uncle and they’ve taken a quick supply run to a space station along the 20-year galactic loop. They won’t be back for another two months, and a dead body was just found on one of their farming sectors.
Natalie must balance the investigation into the woman’s death, her aunt and uncle’s possible involvement, maintain the farming sectors, pursue her education in Human Biology, and manage the personal relationships every young adult faces. And do all of this while chasing down her own leads on who might have killed the woman on her relative’s farm, avoiding interference from Base Security, and slipping into the dark, fringe sectors of the battle base.
