Detective Jack Dawes is looking forward to a nice, quiet holiday with his wife, Corrie. And the seaside resort Now to Zen Hotel & Spa promises “a calming Zen environment.”

Perfect.

Corrie even registers his occupation as electrician so no one will know he’s a detective while they’re there.

But on their way for a romantic dip, Jack and Corrie discover the body of a dead woman in one of the twilight whirlpools.

The spiritual oasis of pampering and relaxation turns into a nightmare. Jack is swiftly thrown into a police cell by a zealous local copper who is convinced he’s the murderer.

It’s up to Corrie to clear Jack’s name. But will the truth come out before it’s too late?
