In this final chapter of the Shooting Stars series, Chuck and Kelsey are on their own to battle Doug’s small vampire coven.
The world of Vampire has declared war against the kingdom of the elves and invaded Faerie. All the elves and vampires in the human world have been called back to their lands to fight in the war.
Dafydd, king of the elves, demands the return of the Vampire Moon Ring, putting Kelsey’s mother in danger.
When the vampires, Doug, Hannah, Marrissa, and Troy refuse to join in the war and stay in the human world, Kelsey bids her family farewell. She insists on remaining in the human world and joins Chuck and his parents to keep an eye on the rebel coven.
Then Chuck’s parents—and most of the vampire hunters—disappear.
