What could go wrong in a single rain storm?

Loretta lives in the middle of no where for a darn good reason. She likes the peace and quiet, and she’s got too strong a sixth sense for the city. Come hell or high water, though, trouble’s stalking her.

Can she and the too-pretty-for-his-own-good sheriff stay clear of trouble? Or is it her fate to get washed away in the rain?
