Description
If you remember those days of fatty Sunday roasts, junket, climbing mulberry trees, hula hoops, mini-skirts, and rock ‘n’ roll, then you were a teenager in the 50s and 60s. Rebellious teens were controlled with threats of “wait until your father comes home” and young ladies were instructed to “wear clean knickers in case you’re in an accident.”
A lively commentary on the food, fads and fashions, music, surfing, crazy dances, dating, and much, much more. Although set in coastal Australia, we all had hopes, dreams, and crushes on pop stars and “the opposite sex.”
