Description
Leonard George has a dilemma. Work in an industry that is lucrative and provides for his family, but at the same time threatens their very lives, making them sick and taking away their traditional lifestyle. When his son becomes ill and his family starts to fall apart, Leonard makes a decision. He needs to ensure that the whole world understands what is going on in Northern Alberta. After trying to get help through all of the legal avenues, Leonard is getting nowhere and decides to take matters into his own hands. His own, very competent and angry hands.
As a young First Nations man with his own history in his back pocket, Leonard takes hostage a bus load of tourists bound for the Alberta oil sands. His purpose is to find a way to get the nation’s attention—the world’s eyes on his concerns . . . on the truth.
What Leonard is not prepared for is his own truth that he encounters during this ordeal. One that shows him that love, trust, and forgiveness really does exist.
