Description
After accomplishing her dream of becoming an attending physician in Lakewood Medical Center’s new emergency department, Irene Thatcher has a poignant experience that makes her reconsider what she wants most out of her life. Irene is inspired to start living more fully, but her world is rocked again when her boyfriend isn’t on board with her plans. Heartbroken but still resolved, Irene impulsively decides to take a break from her regimented medical life and fulfill her lifelong wish to travel to Italy. Along the way, Irene meets Paul Conti, the alluring man who manages the apartment she rents in Rome. Soon, Irene and Paul team up to help his grandparents, and Irene gradually starts believing she has found the life she has been searching for. However, when she’s suddenly faced with an unexpected turn of events, Irene is forced once again to choose what she really wants.
