Description
Logan MacQuaid is back in town, trying to make up for his mistake of the past. Five years ago, he left his love, Allie Martinez without even a goodbye. Determined to win her back, he puts in a bid on the house they once dreamed of living in together. But someone buys it out from under him.
Allie Martinez finally has a home for her young daughter. But in order to get her dream house, her ex-husband from a marriage of convenience is half-owner. To her surprise, Logan shows up at her door wanting her back. But can she forgive him as well as herself for her choices of the past? And will she tell him he’s fathered her daughter and risk him breaking the little girl’s heart as well as her own if he decides to leave again?
Short sweet story of reunion and second chances. Allie had a secret and tried to protect herself as best she could. Her strength that I admired was what she would do for her daughter. Her broken heart was put to the side for that one steady love in her life. I admired Logan’s ability to try and make amendments and his acceptance of his fault in all this. Their attraction to each other matured, and Logan was willing to treat Allie’s daughter as his own from the beginning. I enjoyed this story a lot and recommend it.
I received an ARC of this story as a gift, and this is my unsolicited review.
