Description
The world’s most wonderful time of year can rot as far as Caralyn Benzer is concerned. Life has taken her down some dark paths since her mother’s death seven years ago, and all she wants is to feel normal again.
When her mom appears to her on December first, demanding Caralyn change or else, Caralyn is sent on a thirty-day journey through her past, present, and future with a ghostly form of her partner, Bobby, the only person who can help her remember who she was before her Christmas was destroyed.
Her dreams start affecting reality as she learns from the past and reviews the choices that have taken her so far from who she used to be. When the real Bobby shows a stronger interest in Caralyn, her resolve to keep him at an arm’s length wavers, especially when Bobby’s ex-fiancé comes to visit.
The only thing standing between her choices and her desired change is herself. Can she put the past aside long enough to be the person in the future she yearns to be?
