Description
The pearl comb is a passive observer, but it will play a prominent part in the loss and love in the lives of three women.
Christabel is feisty with an overactive imagination. Aged eighteen and living during the time of the Battle of Waterloo, she’s in love with a soldier who only wants to use her to advance his military career.
Victoria, living in the mid-nineteenth century, is sweet natured but haunted by the loss of the child taken from her soon after his birth.
Finally there’s Jenny, a 21st century career woman who is unable to sacrifice her pride and forgive the man she loves.
The pearl comb weaves its way through the centuries as though trying to find its true owner. And although these three women will own it, it will truly belong to just one.
