This was a fun read, from the accidental compromising of Anne to the repairing of Philip’s heart, family reputation, and home. Anne’s willingness to accept and make the best of her life gave her the strength to stand up for herself and her husband. Philip was such a broken man, not knowing his own worth, .that his happiness was my own. There were moments of amusement as well as some of disgust at the treatment this couple received. It was a satisfying happily ever after, and I recommend this story.
