Summer at the Lake by Linda Barrett

Single mom, Kristin McCarthy hears the sound of the saxophone gliding through the night air . . . a healing sound for her daughter. She begins a search for the person who can play so beautifully. Her high hopes fall, however, when the musician turns out to be a cop. The police fell short when she and Ashley needed them most. But still . . . if this cop could make a difference . . . if he can help Ashley . . . well, Kristin would do anything for her young daughter.
An attractive widow with a damaged kid are the last people Rick needs in his life, and he tries hard to remain aloof. The ladies, however, knock down his barriers simply by being themselves. Fearful but brave, smart but silly. Before long, warm feelings grow between him and Kristin. Feelings that spark potential for a future together.
However, before Kristin allows herself to dream, Rick must prove he’s a man she and her daughter can trust. Can they count on him forever?
Five Days in Summer by Katia Lief

The Summer Breeze by Shail Rajan
Genre: Women’s Fiction
Callie Williams is tired of it all: her fast-paced life in New York City, her demanding career, and her exacting fiancé. An unexpected visit from her sister and the discovery of a secret upend her life, and she is forced to finally make the decision to start over.
Leaving everything behind, Callie makes a life-changing move to the small town of Seneca Springs nestled on the banks of Cayuga Lake in beautiful Finger Lakes Wine Country. Taking on a daunting renovation while navigating the complexities of small-town life, Callie forges lifelong friendships, eats more than her fair share of delicious food, and tries not to meddle in the lives of her guests. The only thing hindering her newfound happiness is the attraction she feels for Nick, a rough-around-the-edges construction worker who is determined to get under Callie’s skin.
A late-night delivery will tear them apart, but a quintessential nor’easter snowstorm might just force them back together . . .
